I really tried to figure out what the point of this movie was. If it was supposed to have you feel for Pumpkin and his struggles to become more vocal and physical or if it's for you to despise those people who thrive on taking advantage of the "less fortunate." Another old review:
For those of you expecting a bad review, get to steppin'. This is not Another Dumb Teenage American Pie She's All That and a bag of Road Trip sophomore-fest. Instead, it is a well-acted, genuinely funny dark comedy that is too smart to be politically correct.
