40 Days and 40 Nights (2002)

Stud-muffin Matt (Josh Hartnett) is dumped by his girlfriend and then tests his resolve by swearing off sex for the 40 days of Lent. But his abstinence is severely tested when he meets hottie Shannyn Sossamon. Hartnett's a natural in the role (he attended a parochial high school in Minnesota). A must-see for dogmatic Catholic-school boys.

Being that I was raised in an agnostic family, I was always a little fascinated by the concept of Lent. Okay, I was bored on Sunday and this movie was on and I always wanted to check it out but, I never took the time to actually sit down and watch the whole thing. Well, nothing was on television and I decided now was the best time to check it out.
Really, the movie wasn't that bad, of course, it's not on my top ten,...
