Note to Adam Sandler: When your remake of a film from 1936 isn't nearly as funny today as the original still is, it's time to throw in the towel.
The considerable talents of Winona Ryder, John Turturro, Peter Gallagher and Steve Buscemi are wasted in this unfunny waste of time, playing second, third, fourth and fifth...
