John Q is one of those films that really makes you understand how f*cked up America's healthcare system is. As a father that's not rich you never know what type of medical / financial problems you will run into for yourself or your children.

I think the quote says it all. We all know how difficult it is to have some major medical expenses that we can't cover. If you haven't had that, maybe you know someone that needs a surgery or some medical treatment that costs more than they have or that isn't covered by their insurance. I know I've hit that brick wall...

Without reservation, I can recommend that any Denzel Washington film is worth your time, and that most will be memorable experiences. OK, maybe not License to Kill.
