Normally, I'm one of those people who really enjoys the depressing matter-of-fact parts of life that director Todd Solondz likes to highlight. And I can't say that there weren't points in this movie that he was trying to make that were that far off the mark.
But he chose a cast which is far and away the least charismatic...
