Many criticize Baz Luhrman for being too style heavy, but you wouldn't criticize Hitchcock for being too dark, or Speilberg for being too sappy (okay, maybe I would), because it is what they do best.

This has to be my favourite movie of 2001. It's just so darn fun. I love the music, the colors, the acting, everything! This movie is like some acid trip, but you don't want it to stop. And it seems to cover almost every emotion, which makes for a ride. I can't say enough about this movie. It's great!
