Fegele (Christina Ricci) is a Russian Jew separated from her father as a child. Excellent performances by such stars as Cate Blanchett, Johnny Depp and John Turturro, but the film was stolen by Christina Ricci, who shone brightly as the girl trying to get to America to find her father.
Written and directed by Sally Potter, this was a beautiful film about love and loss.
