A.I. as directed by Steven Spielberg 20 or 30 years from now has the chance go down has one of the greatest films ever, if not one of the most underrated.
This movie must be judged on its on merits without bringing any preconcieved "I hate Spielberg" or "I hate Kubric" prejudice into the viewing.

Stop. Please, just stop. A confused and uneven film that is not what Stanley Kubrick intended.
Instead, it becomes typical Spielberg, happy ending and all.
There are some great aspects to this film, the Kubrickian hints that are not followed through with.
Ultimately we get a sloppy attempt by Spielberg to up his game as an homage to Kubrick,...
