Summer Catch (2001)

Freddie Prinze Jr. is a blue-collar boy who dreams of becoming a Major League baseball player. Dreams aside, he makes it to "second base" when Jessica Biel (a rich girl visiting Cape Cod for the summer) falls hard for him. What's more, there's friction galore between Prinze's townie friends and members of his baseball team -- talented college kids who descend on the Cape each summer.

I'm trying to remember why I felt inclined to watch this movie. Oh... that's right! Matthew Lillard is in it. He and Prinze have been friends since appearing in SHE'S ALL THAT together. They've made several movies together as a result, something that I hate since Matthew usually ends up in the background, the laughable...
