  Memento (2000)

description written by member Zara:

A man is searching to find the rapist and murderer of his wife. The only problem is that his short term memory only allows him to remember what happens to him over the course of the day. When he wakes in the morning, he has no memory of what happened the day before. He takes Polaroids and tattoos his body to keep track of important facts and events. To make matters even more confusing, the story is told completely in reverse.

Such a unique concept for a film in an industry that tends to recycle its ideas over and over again. This film is a great film to watch with a group of people and discuss your...

Memento Movie Review by Andrew (9/14/2007)

Arguably one of the most unique and absorbing independent films of all time. Christopher Nolan's narrative puts the viewer into the same place at Leonard in his quest for vengeance. The film runs in short (3-5 minute) segments of Leonard's experiences, but in reverse order. So a first time viewer sees things as Leonard...
