Bring It On (2000)

Although I mostly prefer the underground cheer scene, this movie does a fair job of encompassing the enthusiasm and dedication that "Swinging Cheerleaders" first established in 1974. Though Kirsten Dunst is no Colleen Camp, I was happy to see the movie-going public embrace the only true art form.

A girly and funny movie about competitive cheerleading that is way better than you probably expect.
I am not saying it is an all-time classic, but certainly a classic in the genre of teen chick-flick sports movies.

We don't do cheerleading in the UK, at least not in the way you guys out in the good ole USA with the pom poms, plastic smiles, and dumb chants ......urrrrgh it makes me want to staple my eyes shut and ram sharp pointy things into my ear drums, I wasn't even aware of "Pep" until my first visit to your side of the pond....
