A story about a simple minded guy who would love nothing more than to just be the water boy for a losing football team is discovered to actually be good at football. Yes, this is the setup and entire premise of the movie. But that's ok, it's an Adam Sandler movie during the hey day of Adam Sandler movies.

This film inexpicably features Kathy Bates as Sandler's controlling mother. She is the best part of the movie...BY FAR.
