'Sphere' plays like a dumbed-down version of Solaris, the classic sci-fi story by Stanislaw Lem, turned into a masterwork by Andrei Tarkovsky, and adapted too by Steven Soderbergh, a version more viewers might be familiar with. Wow, can not believe that this film does not already have at least one review. I love this film.....I think it is SOOOOOOO underrated. First off the cast is just brilliant......the casting director should have won an award.......the story is really unique as well...It involves time travel, science and terror!
