Out of Sight (1998)

When I was about 13 years old, I picked up my first Elmore Leonard book and fell in love with his simple and straight forward prose. He could tell a good story, create characters who were believable and likeable even if they were criminals, degenerates or outright a**holes. Leonard knows how to write a book.

A great, sexy Soderbergh caper from when J.Lo was still an actress.
This film mixes sex and the law, with Lopez as a marshall and Clooney as her target, but they just can't help hopping in the sack.
It is not as cornball as it may sound, it is a hip and elegant movie that stands up to the Soderbergh name.
