Can a common man ever expect to be in the company of a beautiful star?
Maybe not in real life, but for the many that hope to ever do so this movie is a ray of hope.
Hugh Grant was absolutely marvelous as a bookseller who bumps into
Julia Roberts. She was equally fantastic in what I perceive to be her

This was on TV last night and it reminded me how much I actually did like this movie.
I mean, I know I love Hugh Grant, but I am not the biggest Julia Roberts person, yet somehow she is less annoying and very fresh when working with Mr. Stammer.

This film is sh*te there's no two ways about it. The only thing that makes this film slightly tollerable is Rhys Ifans and his witty one liners and occasional comedic shots of him in his undies.
So the story.....its the usual crap Hugh grant waltzes around like a dithering fanny with his ponsy Eaton school boy accent in...
