Expanding their one-joke skit from television's Saturday Night Live, Chris Kattan and Will Ferrell are Doug and Steve Butabi, the wearers of the rayon suits and Speedo trunks who bob their heads in unison to dance music while unsuccessfully preying on women in clubs. I love this freakin' movie!!! Night at the Roxbury is one fo the most hilarious movies ever created. The best part of this sketch when it was on SNL was how over-the-top they could be for those few minutes, and then we left it alone. Jim Carrey was brilliant when he hosted, melding right into the physical madness of these characters.
On the big screen it is one-note, lame and incomprehensibly bad.
