The Big Lebowski (1998)

After the tight plotting and quirky intensity of Fargo, this casually amusing follow-up from the prolifically inventive Coen (Ethan and Joel) brothers seems like a bit of a lark, and the result was a box-office disappointment. I caught this tonight since Zara was looking for Jeff Bridges reviews. I am so glad that I did.

Joel & Ethan Coen have written many excellent films, in this case, they have created a comedic masterpiece.
The Big Lebowski is not a simple comedy for simple minds, so don't expect humor like American Pie or Scary Movie...here the humor it's all verbal, in the way the characters speak, the way they relate to each other,...
