Since You've Been Gone (1997)

This is a high school reunion from hell. The geeks, the jocks, the disillusioned, the pretentious, the pretenders, and the precious all gather for a 10-year reunion. There also seems to be a couple of criminally insane alumni, but we are meant to regard them with amusement. First-time director David Schwimmer brings nothing new to the table, as the jokes are patently obvious, crude, and rather nasty. The characters are little better than stereotypes and caricatures. The only positive aspect of this flick is an interesting cast. Expect intriguing cameos from Marisa Tomei, Liev Schreiber, Molly Ringwald, and even Jerry Springer....
