  Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion (1997)

Romy and Michele (Mira Sorvino and Lisa Kudrow), two blonde air-heads, that have been best friends forever. Their ten year high school reunion is coming up and they realize their lives aren't as impressive as they wanted them to be by this time. Not letting their lack of success hold them back from going back to their high school, where they were tortured by the popular crowd, the two head off pretending to be business women, and the inventors of post-its. Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion Movie Review by Zara (3/13/2007)

This movie, along with GROSSE POINTE BLANK, came out at the time that Gen X started to question if it was going to go quietly into accepting adulthood or fight it with every last breath that it had. The best way to figure that out was to do some montages and look back on a time when they were young and had potential.
