Let me just start by saying that this movie freaked me out. It was great.
Space exploration has always been a big deal. Ever since the first man walked on the moon we've been exploring space and trying to make better ships to take us there. Imagine if someone made a ship that could bend or tear the time/space continuum...

Event Horizon was a huge box office failure the reason I believe was poor marketing. It is a strong movie with a great plot, good special effects and a great cast. I can not remember ever meeting someone that hated this movie but I have seen it trashed before from other critics.
