To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar (1995)
This is the story of three drag queens who win a trip to Hollywood after a big drag contest in New York. On the way they have car trouble and get stranded in a small town. Stuck they start trying to entertain the town to make them accept them and all is well until the local sheriff, who is very unsupportive steps in.

There's a better movie that was released later and somewhat inspired by this movie. It's called PRISCILLA, QUEEN OF THE DESERT, and if you're torn between that movie and this one, I'd go with that one.

First off, let's just get right to the guys in drag. Wesley Snipes and Patrick Swayze aren't the drag type! That's what I thought when I saw the cover. John Leguizamo is more likely to do it for the laughs, so he didn't surprise me. They did really great jobs in these roles though and they are funny as heck!
