There is no one who could argue against the fact that if you put Brad Pitt, Morgan Freeman, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Kevin Spacey together in a film, it is going to be a hit.
I have watched countless hours of murder mysteries in movies and TV and have read innumerable books, and there is no finer murder/serial killer story...

I rented it because I didn't want to watch it on tv and see the edited version. Now I wish I hadn't bothered. I thought it was pretty slow..but I don't dislike it because of that reason. I understand that's how cases are solved..it takes time. But, I didn't think the characters were developed very well. They seemed pushed...
