This is a Terry Gilliam film, so you know that things are going to be a little off.

Take Brad Pitt out of this film and it is just a so-so time travel film. Released the same year as his great performance in Se7en, this film was an outstanding example of his range and capabilities. He was the focus of the film even if he wasn't on screen that long. You knew he HAD to be the one responsible.
