Son In Law (1993)

A sweet young girl from a farming family goes off to college in
California and gets help from the student advisor in her dorm on how to
loosen up. When Thanksgiving rolls around and he has nowhere to go, she
brings him home with her, pretending that he is her fiance.

Back in the late '80's and early '90's, Pauly Shore and his neo-hippy, stoner sense of humor was all the rage. There are comedians now who are popular for being as loud and obnoxious as possible, making me yearn for the simpler Shore times.
See, he might not have always been side-splittingly funny, but Shore never wanted...
