Sleepless in Seattle 1993

From Amazon: The director and stars of 1998's You've Got Mail scored a breakthrough hit with this hugely popular romantic comedy from 1993, about a recently engaged woman (Meg Ryan) who hears the sad story of a grieving widower (Tom Hanks) on the radio and believes that they're destined to be together. She's single in New York, he lives in Seattle with a young son, but the cross-country attraction proves irresistible, and pretty soon Meg's on a westbound flight. What happens from there is ... well, you must have been living in a cave to have let this sweet-hearted comedy slip below your pop-cultural radar. There's little complexity or depth to...

Sleepless in Seattle Movie Review by Filmkiller (9/14/2011)

'Chick flick' can be a pretty subjective term, but I think we can agree that Sleepless in Seattle fits the bill. I feel obligated to fire a preemptive strike against the argument that this is the reason I don't like it. I like several films that would be so defined, such as When Harry Met Sally, While You Were Sleeping,...

Sleepless in Seattle Movie Review by Jessica Film Junkie (3/10/2007)

Whenever this is on TV, I can't change the channel...it is impossible.

The story of two people who meet with a little help from the radio, 'An Affair to Remember', some kids and Rosie O'Donnell is the best of the Tom Hanks-Meg Ryan flicks.

It is heart-warming, feminine, masculine, awesome and that's all I really need to...

Sleepless in Seattle Movie Review by ellen (12/31/2006)

this was a good heartwarming movie. it begins kind of sad, yet endearing as a son searches for a mate for his widower dad. hid dad (hanks) doesn't want a relationship right now but his son forces him into one which turns out to be the perfect person. meg and tom are so awesome together in this long distance relationship....

Sleepless in Seattle Movie Review by Andrea (4/14/2006)

I like Meg Ryan in anything.. so I thought it couldn't be bad. I was right. I thought Tom's phone conversation with the radio woman and Meg listening on her radio in the car was the best part in the whole movie. The only problem was the ending..and if you've seen the movie you know what I'm talking about.
