I might have a soft spot in my heart for this movie because the cantankerous character played by Burgess Meredith reminds me of my grandfather. My Papa was a foul-mouthed little Italian who always said whatever was on his mind and didn't care what people thought about him, much to the chagrin of his children and amusement...
