My favorite Sam Raimi flick. A lot of fun, camp, chin and boomstick. Groovy.

The third and (so far) final installment of the EVIL DEAD series, ARMY OF DARKNESS continued on in the pattern that the previous two were setting. The first EVIL DEAD was meant to be taken as a serious horror flick with dashes of quiet black humour. EVIL DEAD 2 upped the laugh factor while still retaining much of the gore....

Is this Sam Raimi's best film pre-Spider Man 2? Some would argue that this A-List director made his best mark in Evil Dead 2. That was certainly a great film, but I have an affinity for time-travel, and found this film to be as good, if not better.
