My Cousin Vinny (1992)

Bill and Stan are mistaken for murderers while on vacation. Bill's family sends his cousin, Vinny Gambini, to defend them in his first case as a lawyer. Vinny's girlfriend, Mona Lisa Vito, joins him to help win the case because of a promise he made to her that he would marry her when he won his first case. It seems like our standards change as the time passes. Flicks that were hilarious 10 years ago may come off as cheesy and annoying now-a-days. This flick was funny the first time I watched it. Everyone I know watches this movie for one reason and one reason only. The near the ending scene where Marissa Tomei's character explains how the two men accused of murdering a convenience store clerk couldn't have done it based on the car that they drove.
It's a classic scene, one where we get to see an unlikely heroine...
