There is some question as to whether this is noir or not. Modern noir? Who really cares, as it was a great story by Scott Frank (Out of Sight, get Shorty) and very capable direction by Kenneth Branagh.
Branagh also played two characters in a film that was apparently going one direction and completely went somewhere else....
