Home Alone (1990)

Possibly the rudest and most empowering kid flick ever.
Kevin (Macaulay Culkin) is forgotten by his huge family as they go to Paris for Christmas vacation. He finds that he able to take care of himself and fight off bad guys and they learn that they value him.
