Goodfellas is by far the best gangster movie ever. Nothing says mobster like De Niro. Nothing says smart-ass like Pesci. An actor combo that goes together like peanut butter and jelly. This classic is Scorsese's best piece yet. Full of memorable lines, bloody violence, and a cast that would make the Saint Valentines Day...

Martin Scorsese is one of the best directors in film history and while some claim that Taxi Driver or Raging Bull are the definitive Scorsese films, I say Goodfellas is his true masterpiece.
