Mark L. Lester's follow-up film to his Class of 1984 is a rancidly violent peek at a near-future high school world of terror -- The Jetsons meet The Terminator. In Lester's world, total anarchy rules (at least in Seattle). Classrooms are sinkholes of violence, and around the kill-zone high schools "Free Fire Zones" are set up that look like re-creations of Dachau. Class of 1999 is a sequel of sorts to 1982's Class of 1984. While that movie was rooted in reality, the sequel is a hard-charging action/sci-fi movie, sort of a cross between The Faculty and Robocop.
It's 1999, and kids are so bad and violent that they need a special kind of discipline. That's when the government enlists...

I had the biggest crush on Bradley Gregg ever since he played "Eye Ball Chambers" in Stand by Me, and I remember watching this film like 20 time one summer.
So this is Mark Lester's follow up to Class of 1984 (which I only recently saw). It's Seattle 1999 (obviously) and the school system is in chaos and gangs run...
