Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind helped me get through a tough time.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind helped me get through a tough time.
My birthday is tomorrow and I always like giving back to the people who have made my life worthwhile. That is definitely you, my faithful readers! I really appreciate your support, so I thought what better time than now to give you a list of my favorite movies. If you've enjoyed the topics I write on, I know you will find some movies on this list that you treasure too. These movies have inspired me, made me laugh, picked me up when I was down, helped me move on, helped me open up, gave me a new perspective, made me angry, and, mostly importantly, made me smile. I also hope these movies find a place into your home and your heart.

Movies are an important part of my life; I think movies enrich our lives by allowing us to see other ways of living or being. A movie can transform you or make you more determined. It can also keep you from being bored on a Saturday night. Whatever the case may be, I hope you can find something in the list that is new to you and I hope it makes a positive impact on your life as it has in mine.

Please review this list and comment below; if you think I am missing something, an important movie that has made a difference in your life, please respond in the comments section with the title of the

movie and how it impacted your life. I would love to read your opinions and learn from your experiences.

This list is not in order like a "top ten" list. It just simply lists movies that I find fascinating, funny, artistic, significant, and most of all worthy of the 90 odd minutes or so of your life.

Enjoy and Happy Un-Birthday to you!

Crystal O'Gorman
I am a big dreamer from a small town searching for the meaning of life and using movies as a window of opportunity to understand the world around me. I remember working at the local, family-operated movie store as a teenager and being completely fascinated by the way movies bring the rest of the world to your finger tips.
