I have always liked weapons of all sorts. Whether it be knives, swords, bows & arrows, guns, cannnons, missile launchers, etc. Movies played a big part in connecting me with these tools of destruction. I guess what bothers me is the fact that our government wants to ban, destroy , and stop importation of many types of weapons. Assault weapons in particular. Our constitutional right to bear arms is slowly deminishing. What will they do next? Ban the use of weapons in movies, so that we can't even have the image of protection, ownership, and sport, that these possessions give. The government has already put ratings on music that you buy, on video games that you play, and contiously put stricter ratings on movies, so that everything has a PG-13 rating or lower, so that people that want to show "the real deal" can't afford to put an "R" rating for fear of losing millions of dollars because the mass public of movie-goers that are under the age of 18 can't go see it. It's time that everyone opened up their eyes and realized that censorship, banning, controlling of the masses doesn't do anything but hurt the honest citizen and causes hate towards the people in power that do so. They say things won't get better until they get a lot worse. I beg to differ. Don't vote these people of ignorant virtues into policitcal power that look only to better themselves by taking away from US, the people of this country, the back-bone of society, and fighters for freedom in this nation that we call home. All I can say is the NRA is your friend, Republicans don't try to take your guns away, and Guns don't kill people, People Kill People.
