Model / Actress / Writer |
| Sweet, Sexy, & Super Nice all describe this wonderful lady. I couldn't have asked for a better person to interview. Bobbie Brown, the "CHERRY PIE" girl from the Warrant music video, is a model / writer / actress that has the right attitude and personality to take her wherever she wants to go. I have talked to Bobbie on several occasions and this is what we talked about.......
SM What current projects are you working on?
BB I just shot a pilot for my own reality show that is being pitched to different networks as we speak. It's called Cougar. It's about older women who date younger men. The pilots really funny. Also I have a book I've started writing, that's taken a back seat for a while, but really going to be good, it's an autobiography, I was mentioned in 13 books presently so I decided to do a retort, my view of things. It's got a great title too!
SM Tell me about your acting / modeling career.
BB It's been a while since I've pursued either really, the reality show came around by accident. I was working as a personal assistant to the owner and company called LePaws; an agency for dogs in the entertainment indudstry, and the company booked a reality show on lifetime, and the production company thought my personality was off the hook and came up with the show idea on the side.
SM Who is your favorite people to work with and why?
BB People who are down to earth, still have their soul left, people who can emphathize on a real human level. And funny people, people who can make me laugh. Also people who can see the light in every situation.
SM If you could work with anybody, who would it be and why?
BB This is off the beaten path, but Brandon Boyd, he's a musician, & the singer of the band Incubus, but I can relate to everything he says and writes and sings about. I could be his personal assistant, or anything for that matter, I met him once, and the light he exudes, is overwhelming, it's an amazing feeling, his energy, it felt great. That sounds kind of weird I know, but in a way
Make her laugh, and she's all yours... |
| that's unexplainable and great all at once.
SM What is your best attribute?
BB To be able to adapt and relate to all people on all different levels, self depricating, and a great sense of humor.
SM What can we expect from you in the near future?
BB Hopefully my show will get picked up and my book will be released, I'll be in the eye again, doing what i love and making a living at it, happily and peacefully.
SM Tell me the funniest thing that has happened to you.
BB Being a mother is funny, not so much even haha funny just funny in the sense that I've created this amazing being and the comraderie we have between us both and the things she enlightens me about and the wonderful relationship we have together. And when she makes me laugh it is funnier on so many different levels.
SM Any bad Hollywood experiences?
BB I'm not much of a push over, nor am I a passive being either, and quite vocal to boot, so in real ways of Bad, probably not so much, but anytime I meet someone full of themselves, and acting like their shit is golden, It lends an opportunity for me to call them out, put them on front street, without me even premeditating to do so, it just kind of happens naturally, and a sense of releif tends to take over the entire room, as if I just said or did something, that people have been dying to say or do to this person all along. So that's when the situation lends itself in my eyes to be "bad" when you have to deal with someone who thinks they are above everyone else.
SM What turns you on?
BB Laughter, honesty, kindness, attention, and genuineness.
SM What turns you off?
BB Cheaters, martyrs, whiners, complainers, dishonestly, someone who is not a person of their word, people who are not consistent.
SM When did you first become popular and "in demand"? How did that change your life?
BB I'd have to say when I was on the show Star Search back in 1990, I
Look for Bobbie's autobiography! |
| won 13 times in a row and that show was then televised, and re-aired, so I had a lot of air time, and therefore got a lot of work from it. It changed my life in so many ways for the better really, even though I went through alot of negative experiences from it, but it's made me the person I am now, and ultimately those experiences have changed me for the better.
SM Tell me your favorite movie, and actor / actress and why.
BB I don't really have a favorite, although like I mentioned earlier, I live to laugh, so comedians are ultimate for me, presently Dane Cook is a favorite. I've been to a dozen of his shows, and if someone can make you laugh so much you're crying, that's beyond, an amazing feeling.
SM Controversy sells. What is controversial about you?
BB I have a big mouth and get myself in trouble all the time with it.
SM Tell what you think about www.matchflick.com.,
BB Very cool company. Quite nice people who are involved with it.
SM Give me some personal stats.
BB I'm 5'8, 120pounds, blue eyes, blonde hair, born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, presently located in Hollywood Hills, CA. I have a group on the internet dedicated to me as well as myspace.
SM Best work that you have done and why.
BB I always try to do my best in everything I do work wise, but I'm excited about this new project only because it's me and my personality, not something that is scripted
I want to thank Bobbie for coming to MatchFlick and doing this interview as well as becoming a member here. Bobbie also has a MySpace account and you can find that on the MatchFlick myspace page. Bobbie is a special person, full of energy, compassion, and most of all herself! I wish the very best for her and all her endeavors! Much luck Bobbie!
